Cottage between Carcassonne and Limoux in the Aude

Domaine du Pinier.

The Estatee de Pinier is on the way to the Upper Aude Valley and a stone’s throw the City of Carcassonne.

It was previously a wine estate dating back to the 17th Century and has been converted into a beautiful residence and horse-riding centre.

Legend has it that the name “Pinier” comes from a majectic umbrella pine which used to be on the estate and beneath which the Black Prince is said to have set up camp in 1355.

Built in the foothills of the Malpère (classified as Natura 2000 site) the estate offers visitors the peace and tranquility of the countryside combined with all the conveniences of the nearby towns.
